Don't Worry, Chicken Curry!

May your day be filled with joy and bright!

The focus of this note is the absolute goodness of Christ...in His pursuit of His people. He takes care of us, and knows what we need...so we can rest in His big-ness, and not worry!

The Arabian Sea in Kerala, SW India is really pretty. Joseph got to go surfing, so he's stoked! Here's a photo of him looking hot, catching a wave... getting ready for Australia and Hawaii.

Yesterday we ran into a Swedish physical therapist who needed patients to come to his class for free...15 Swedish doctors and P.T.s were there for a seminar, and Christy had a really good appointment with professionals who have been doctors for 25 years..they gave some great advice and exercises to incorporate.( Christy has struggled with chronic pain for a few years now, so this is a blessing)

We have found the cheapest yummiest place to eat (where Indians actually eat because the food, prices and service are just right..kind to the wallet and the tastebuds). The food of choice is called Thali, rice with 5 different tasty sauces to try, including fresh coconut goodness.

We keep running into this cool family from New Zealand..we've seen them in three different places in India, totally different parts of the country...so we had dinner with them last night again. ..., we found out their hearts have been captivated by Jesus too! God is so good!

Have a splendifirous day
and be Refreshed!

your compadres,
the Rauwolfs

Oh, sometimes I just want to give you both a huge hug... so here's a little cyber one {{{{u}}}} that will have to do... for now :)

I was really blessed by your insight on kites. We are all designed to be kites in His mighty hand. He is the expert flier and knows how far to send us before drawing us back again. It reminded me to stop pulling (or tipping) the direction I want to go and trust him. He doesn't crash kites...we crash ourselves when we pull in directions He doesn't intend for us to go.

Thank you for your blog. It is always a source of wonder for the whole family. Eli says (and has for several years now) that he is going to be an evangelistic missionary pastor and travel the world "like Aunt Christy and Uncle Joey". He WILL do it too. I am convinced. [As you well know, our wily enemy fights hard against such a strong call on his life, so Eli needs constant prayer and encouragement]

This reminded me of you today:

"God be merciful and gracious to us and bless us and cause His face to shine upon us and among us--Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!--
That Your way may be known upon the earth. Your saving power (Your deliverances and Your salvation) among all nations.
Let the peoples praise You [turn away from their idols] and give thanks to You, O God; let all the peoples praise and give thanks to You.
O let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for You will judge the peoples fairly and guide, lead or drive the nations upon the earth. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
Let the peoples praise You [turn away from their idols] and give thanks to You, O God; let all the peoples praise and give thanks to You!" -Psalm 67:1-5

I love you both very much and you are often constantly in my thoughts and prayers.
